1. Who’s responsible

STAGING FIXTURE — Edmoti Acceptance (test seller, not a real business) trading as Edmoti Acceptance A (staging test) is the data controller for personal data collected through this storefront. Reach the team at the address on the Contact page for any data request.

2. What we collect

  • Order data — your name, email, shipping address, phone (if given), and order contents. We need this to process and ship the order and to send the receipt.
  • Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Behavioural data — anonymous events about which items you browsed, expanded, or saved, used to rank the For You feed. Tied to a session id, not your identity.
  • Marketing preferences — if you opt into drop alerts, we store your email + the drops you asked about.

3. Why we use it

We process order data to fulfil the contract you entered into when buying. Behavioural data is used on a legitimate-interest basis to rank the feed and to improve the product. Marketing email is sent only after explicit opt-in.

4. Who we share it with

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Carriers (e.g. Royal Mail, UPS) — to ship the order.
  • Resend — to send transactional + opted-in marketing email.
  • AWS — to host the storefront and store product imagery.

We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Order records: 7 years (tax / accounting). Behavioural events: 13 months. Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where we’re not legally required to keep it). Email the support address with the words “Data request” in the subject.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: a session cookie so the feed and bag work, an anonymous id cookie for cross-batch dedupe, and an admin store-selector cookie for operators. No third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top is the date of the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the storefront before they take effect.
